The new road that will allow users to access Châteauguay’s new bus terminus will carry the toponym Jacques-Turcot, in memory of the Châteauguay photographer who was involved in the local business community for several years.

Mr. Turcot’s photography studio was located at the corner of Dunver Street, close to the location of the street that will bear his name. Jacques Turcot, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 72, was very community minded having been the founding President of the Greater Châteauguay Chamber of Commerce as well as the Châteauguay Knights of Columbus. He was the official photographer for the Chamber of Commerce, among others.
