A Tribute to Bryan Adams for Canada Day

le vendredi 30 juin 2023

Châteauguay citizens will be able to celebrate Canada Day on Saturday, July 1st, with a program full of festivities at the Agora, located at 75 Maple Boulevard. The City of Châteauguay, in collaboration with the Châteauguay & Vallée Irish Heritage Association, has prepared a completely free program combining performances, a food stop, games, and entertainment for the whole family.

The site will open at 3:30 PM, and the concert by La Bohème Choir will take place at 4:00 PM. At 6:15 PM, the group Sirens of Rock, a collective of regional artists aiming to pay tribute to female rock, will perform, as explained by Audrey Jacques, Head of Communications at the City of Châteauguay.

At 7:30 PM, the audience will be able to attend the show Remember, a tribute to Bryan Adams. Over 30 years ago, Bryan Adams, an artist from Kingston, Ontario, released his first album titled « Bryan Adams, » which included the song « Remember. »

« Inspired by Bryan Adams’ early 2000s trio tour, featuring an all-white concept, the tribute band Remember takes shape, » stated Ms. Jacques. « This group, composed of three musicians with dynamic and energetic performances, aims to continue showcasing the greatest hits of this Canadian artist. »

Stéphane Martin, who portrays Bryan, began his career as a singer, bassist, and guitarist in 1986 with the band Nitram, and has over 25 years of experience in bars, festivals, conferences, and concert halls throughout Quebec, Canada, and France, she added.

« A journey back filled with musical successes and memories… guaranteed fun! » stated the City of Châteauguay on its website.
