In August, the city of Châteauguay awarded its first contract as part of the project to add a sewer and water supply system south of Autoroute 30 in Châteauguay’s Industrial Park. The work, which is scheduled for the summer of 2024, will also enable the service road between boulevard Industriel in Châteauguay and boulevard Sainte-Marguerite in Mercier to be repaired.

Parallèle 54 Expert-Conseil was awarded the contract to design the water supply and sewer systems and redevelop the service road, which is reputed to be in a state of serious disrepair. The contract was awarded in the amount of $183,620.
The city needs to build infrastructure in this sector because it has sold land for development in its Industrial Park.
