In July, the City of Châteauguay awarded a $1 million contract to Tessier écréo-Parc Inc. for the installation of new play structures at Elmridge, Philippe-Bonneau, and Alfred-Dorais parks.
Mayor Eric Allard informed the city council in July that the work should be completed « no later than this fall. »
The City began updating its parks in 2021. That summer, four new splash pad installations were added to Alfred-Dorais, Vincent, Elmridge, and Philippe-Bonneau parks. Vincent, Concord, and Georges-Étienne-Cartier parks also received new play structures.
